Ella May Studio - Art That Speaks is a Melbourne-based creative business specializing in interchangeable typographic art objects using reclaimed materials. My mission is to create art that evokes emotional connections while championing sustainability.
I focus on small-batch production and meaningful design, reflecting a commitment to artistic exploration and emotional expression. Each piece tells a story, inviting you to experience art that is not just seen but deeply felt.

Why I Create
My work is grounded in the belief that art can support wellbeing and emotional clarity. For many years I have used art as a personal form of therapy — a quiet space for reflection, grounding and self-understanding. Through this process I discovered how powerful visual language and simple words can be when we are searching for reassurance, humour or perspective. I create objects that hold space for those moments. Each piece is designed to offer gentle encouragement and connection, whether in the home or workspace, allowing people to choose words that reflect how they feel or how they wish to feel. Creating this work is both a personal practice and a way of supporting others through thoughtful design.
